Godinton House
Godinton is a remarkable country house, nestled in the heart of Kent. Tours of the 14th century house are led by expert guides unravelling the 600 years of history and revealing an excellent country house collection of furniture, art, porcelain and curios.
Set in 12 acres of beautiful gardens and surrounded by tranquil parkland, the famous yew hedge surrounds the formal gardens with the wild, Italian and walled gardens beyond, full of colour and interest through the seasons, maintained close to Blomfield’s original designs. After your tour, make sure to stop and enjoy delicious homemade cakes, cream teas and refreshments in the old Billiard Room.
