Arundel Castle
Arundel Castle is the home of the Duke of Norfolk and has been in his family for over 800 years. Its origins as a Norman castle can be seen, as can its transformation into a grand Victorian stately home. The landscaped grounds on the edge of Arundel town centre offer a variety of experiences, from the tranquillity of the water gardens to the vibrant colours of the herbaceous borders and the quirkiness of the stumpery. An exciting programmes of events is offered throughout the season, from April to October. These include the renowned Tulip Festival, Medieval Weekends, Jousting, open air theatre and a journey through 12,000 years of history.
