The Artisan Bakehouse

We have an accredited Bread Making school (Centre of Excellence) offering an extensive range of hands on bread making workshops. (& also artisan chocolate making masterclasses). We also have an award winning pop up café and host pop up events from time to time. Often summer garden jazz luncheons & afternoon teas. We are renowned locally for our Festive Opening each year too and offer wreath making with lunch or tea classes... All set in a rural idyll; 5 acres of gardens & woodlands on the edge of the South Downs National park.

In summer months delegates on our classes enjoy the opportunity to enjoy a welcome coffee & lunch in our pretty gardens.

Visitors always comment on how the day is more than just bread making or event but a real chance to escape and spend time close to nature and learning the craft of artisan bread making or whatever the event they are attending it.

When we won the Sussex Food & Drink awards the judges said we were "A truly unique, exciting and immersive foodie experience, which stands out for its quality and creativity".
