Mote Park

This popular and beautiful park is beautifully landscaped around a large lake, surrounded by open grassland and ancient trees. Larger than Hyde Park it has space for everyone. There are popular areas around the car parks and play areas, but also quiet areas full of wild flowers and wildlife. The walk around the lake takes about 50 minutes but much depends how often you stop to look at the vistas and the bird life. The seasons ensure that walks here are constantly changing and whether you choose to lie on the green grass stretched out in the sun, find shade under the trees, kick your way through the autumn leaves, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the end of a sparkling frosty walk, or watch the ducklings it never disappoints.
